Abertura do Concurso FBR #1
Encontram-se abertas as candidaturas ao Fundo de Relações Bilaterais, com um montante total disponível de 200 000 €.
O Mecanismo Financeiro do Espaço Económico Europeu apoia iniciativas que têm como objetivo fortalecer as relações bilaterais entre Portugal e a Islândia, o Liechtenstein e a Noruega através do Fundo de Relações Bilaterais, um fundo gerido pela Unidade Nacional de Gestão dos EEA Grants Portugal.
O Concurso “Fund for Bilateral Relations “- FBR #1, com um montante total disponível de 200 000 €, arranca hoje e permanecerá aberto até 31 de dezembro de 2020 ou até a alocação de fundos ser esgotada.
São elegíveis como promotores de iniciativas bilaterais quaisquer entidades públicas ou privadas, comerciais ou sem fins lucrativos, incluindo quaisquer organizações da sociedade civil, como as organizações não-governamentais, legalmente estabelecidas em Portugal.
O leque de iniciativas bilaterais elegíveis para financiamento ao abrigo do FBR é amplo e envolve cooperação estratégica, networking, intercâmbio, partilha e transferência de conhecimento, tecnologia, experiência e boas práticas entre as entidades Portuguesas e dos países referidos.
As atividades elegíveis para apoio através do Concurso FBR #1 podem ser, por exemplo: eventos de matchmaking; cooperação técnica e intercâmbio de especialistas; estágios de curto prazo; ações de formação; workshops e seminários sobre temas de interesse comum; visitas de estudo; recolha de dados, relatórios, estudos e publicações, campanhas, exposições e material promocional, entre outras.
As iniciativas bilaterais podem ser realizadas em Portugal e/ou na Islândia, no Liechtenstein e na Noruega e devem incluir, obrigatoriamente, parcerias com uma ou mais entidades dos Países Doadores.
O financiamento será disponibilizado apenas para iniciativas bilaterais que contribuam de forma clara para o fortalecimento das relações bilaterais e que obtenham resultados tangíveis.

FBR Open Call #1
The FBR Open Call #1 starts today with a total allocation of €200.000.
EEA Grants supports initiatives aiming at strengthening bilateral relations between Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway (Donor States) and Portugal through the Fund for Bilateral Relations, a fund operated by the National Management Unit, that acts as National Focal Point.
The FBR Open Call #1 starts today with a total allocation of €200.000 and will remain open until the 31st December 2020 or until the allocated funds are depleted.
Any entity, public or private, commercial or non-commercial, including any civil society organization such as non-governmental organizations, established as a legal person in Portugal are considered eligible bilateral activity promoters.
The range of activities eligible for support under the FBR is broad involving cooperation, networking, exchange, sharing and transfer of knowledge, technology, experience and best practices between Donor States and Portuguese Entities.
Activities that can be supported by the FBR Open Call #1 could be, as examples: matchmaking events; technical cooperation and exchange of experts; short-term internships; training actions; workshops and seminars on topics of common interest; study and field visits; collection of data, reports, studies and publications, campaigns and exhibitions, etc.
The Bilateral Initiatives may take place in Portugal and/or in Iceland, in Liechtenstein or in Norway.
Applications must include one or more entity from the Donor States as partners.
Funding will be made available only to Bilateral Initiatives that demonstrate a clear bilateral aim with tangible results and bilateral outcomes.
